So as I promised, as a treat to my watchers on this Halloween, I'm posting an art feature focused on cosplays, just as many of you will be in costume today! These are based on a variety of anime, comics, games, and movies. The cosplays I chose to feature were chosen based on a combination of accuracy of costume, quality of photo, and accurate portrayal of character's mood/personality. Introduction Themes are a good way for others to explore all the different kinds of art there are about it. Maybe some are unique, maybe some are not so unique, but exploring them all is a lot of fun. Each week a new theme is explored as it uncovers all different kinds of art from different kinds of deviants. [I'm horrible at keeping a scheduled anything, so I guess this will be updated from 4 days up to 7 days. It'll never be over a week though before I update.] Theme! Turkeys/Thanksgiving Features!

A little about us:

▲ In Cambio we're mostly interested in character portrayal rather than costume creation so while we do make our own costumes we'll also commission them if it's more cost efficient/practical to do so. A good cosplayer is a cosplayer who has fun doing it!

▲ We're dedicated to the "art" and theatrics of cosplay, this means that we look to bring our favourite characters to life through good make-up, photography and atmospheric post-processing. We will never use photoshop unethically.

▲ We also try to capture photographs with a solid concept behind them to portray the characters as well as possible.

We've been published!

As the journal title suggests this is to announce some SUPER-EXCITING-ULTRA-AWESOME-SUPER-SPECIAL news! -drumrollplzkthanx- The wonderful people at M! Games (a german gaming magazine) have published one of the cosplay photos from our Mirrors Edge photoshoot!! :D It's a massive honour to have my derpy face chosen for print but more importantly I think it's a great testament to Nazgullow (https://www.deviantart.com/nazgullow)'s skills as a photographer and editor. Thank you Naz for your tireless efforts in turning my lazy ass into something publicly presentable, there really wouldn't be a Cambio without you so consider this your victory as much as (or more than) mine :heart:
